RED HOT MAC & CHEESE

Ingredients
- 8 oz shell pasta uncooked
- 2 tablespoons of salted butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon of sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 cup of whole milk
- ¼ cup of sour cream
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- Sprinkle of HOXY™ Red Chili Pepper Fine
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to the box instructions. Add 1/4 tsp of salt to the water used to boil the pasta. Drain and set aside.
- Mix the flour, sea salt, and garlic powder together in a small bowl and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour mixture and whisk. Cook until slightly brown.
- Add the milk and whisk until smooth.
- Add the sour cream and whisk until smooth.
- Cook on medium high heat until mixture thickens. Make sure not to boil.
- Reduce heat then, add the cheese and whisk until melted and smooth. Add seasoning to taste and top with HOXY™ Red Chili Pepper Fine.
